Water colour on card. 30 inches x 40 inches.

 I found a photo of this painting in a magazine in 1977.  The image was very small but good enough to copy. I took a sheet of card from the rack and copied it. The scene reminded me of my youth. The painting itself was damaged recently in transit to Australia.

The pebbles or stones and seaweed on the sand were done with two flicks of dirty water from a four inch brush. The seaweed pointing towards the beach was done with my fingers while the paint was still  wet. I learned so much from this painting, partly technique and the rest attitude.
